My story

Madeleine: brown tabby, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 9/1/18, #16039Crepe: white/black/orange calico, short hair, spayed female, born 9/10/20, #16042Madeleine and her kitten, Crepe, were living on a nice family's property when coyotes were spotted in the area. Fearing for their safety, the homeowners requested our help, and the mother-daughter duo made their way to Rescue House foster care. Thankful for a second chance, Madeleine and Crepe are beaming with optimism as they search for their forever home!Sweeter than a French bakery, our lovely ladies are sure to win your heart with their curious and gentle personalities! These two know how to live the good life, filling their days with plenty of sunbathing, naps on cozy beds, and soaking up attention from their many admirers. To keep up with their busy schedules, they're not fans of being held and kindly ask to remain on their own four paws. ---Mama Madeleine is the responsible sort and likes to take her time adjusting to new surroundings. Once she's comfortable, she'll take her place centerstage so all of her followers can dote on her! She mostly prefers to take things easy; however. She occasionally will join in a game of chase-the-toy. A pamper queen, a couple twirls is her signature way of asking, "May I have a back scratch, please?" Throw in some extra pets down her back and at the base of her tail, and she'll be on cloud nine! ---Crepe seeks out affection from all her human friends whenever possible! This beauty will spoil you with the best leg rubs in town and plenty of grateful headbutts as you scritch her adorable cheeks. You often can find Crepe on the playground-tossing around her cherished fluffy puffballs-or by a window sunning herself as she watches the fascinating birds fly by. ---Madeleine and Crepe MUST be adopted together. They get along well with other felines. While they have not yet met any dogs, we suspect that they would be intimidated by large or rambunctious canines. Fond of resort living, they'd prefer a quiet, adult-only residence. These confectionary treats are certain to be delightful additions to one lucky family. Will it be yours?
