I adopted Ms Gracie from the Fairfax Animal shelter 12/15/2018. 6 month old, she was a rocket. But immediately laid in my lap and hasn’t changed. Sleeps and naps with me, is my shadow, playful and lovable. Loved by everyone she meets. Needs time to adopt to men, but will be best buddy eventual. Ms Gracie doesn’t need expensive toys. Bought the flying fish and others only to give them away. I create my own toys. She is my very best friend, making me laugh all the time. No human food, only water and food from her animal hospital. It keeps her healthy. Brush her several times a day, as she lets me know.
I live in a 1bedroom apartment at a senior community. Ms Gracie is registered with the managers office. Lately she escapes through the apartment door when I am leaving running up and down the corridor. House rules require her to be on a leash, which has been a big problem. Residents complain repeatedly. Ms Gracie needs more space to roam and explore. Please help her. Thanks
