Hi my name is Stevie Ticks. Not sure why I have that second name? Perhaps they meant Nicks. I was rescued as a stray in Palm Beach and nobody came to claim me. That was a long time ago, almost THREE years! I am thankful for Big Dog Ranch and all they have done for me but I am READY for my OWN home! I do not understand why nobody picks Me??? I recently enjoyed a foster home and had a blast. I have learned leash manners and do great until I see a cat, squirrel or peacock and then I want to give chase!! I guess that is called a prey drive. I am a fence jumper so you need a really high one, or just be prepared to take me to parks and walk and run with me. Maybe that is why I got lost to begin with? I really don't want to escape, I am just looking for an adventure. Wouldn't you love to take me on some fun adventures? I need to get a bit more used to the car though. I am house trained and well behaved when you go out for awhile, just leave me something of my own to chew on and a comfy bed. I don't care for that crate and don't think I need one. One thing about me is that I am not so good with other dogs, I prefer being the princess of my castle! Loud noises and fireworks scare me too so keep me safe and secure please. What I need is a confident owner who can work with me to understand it's ok to relax and let my human be the alpha. As mentioned, I can NOT share a home with "those cats"
