My story

Nemo is a very special little man who came to us from Brawley, California. He grew up as a community cat until an accident left him with an aggressive bone infection requiring one of his back legs to be amputated. Nemo has been adapting very well since his surgery. He is quickly figuring out how to get around on three legs and is happy to no longer be in pain.

Nemo is a happy but shy boy looking for a loving, quiet home where he can keep adapting to his new life. He takes a while to warm up to new people but once he bonds with you he is extremely affectionate. Nemo's favorite activity is snuggle time. He is the first to jump into bed and curl up with you at night. He goes nuts for head scratches and will roll over in your lap. His new family will need to be okay with him being a permanent fixture in their bed every night. Nemo is not a foot of the bed kind of cat. He is an in the nook of your arm / head on your pillow kind of guy.

Nemo is able to jump up onto low furniture without any assistance but would still do best in a home with minimal stairs and lots of low hiding spots for him to hang out in. He is very playful and loves chasing wand toys or anything that crinkles. Nemo has other cats in his foster home who he gets along well with.
