Hello, I'm Lancelot the Brave, a feline seeking a human companion. My life in the shelter is pleasant, but I dream of a home where I'm the only cat. I must be the only animal in the home. I haven't been the nicest to feline roommates in the past but I prefer the company of humans anyways. I'll need a very slow and patient new family to let me adjust. For this reason we have made Lancelot's adoption fee up to you! Let's be brave together, shall we?

More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
