Charming and playful, Arcade YoYo acts like an overgrown kitten. He reminds you of all those happy hours spent playing video games in your youth. He likes to lick your hands while you pet him and even when you aren't petting him. YoYo enjoys cuddles and catnip. This green-eyed boy has bursts of energy and thrives on attention, while also enjoying long naps in his cat house. When he's happy, he kneads the air and purrs - and YoYo is often happy. His quirks include chattering at laser pointer dots when they're out of reach and a small kink at the top of his tail. Yoyo is happiest around people and should be your only pet. He suffered some urinary issues with his previous owner and those have resolved with a proper diet. YoYo is a tidy boy and likes a clean litter box. Also he MUST eat wet food only. YoYo is such a loving, big-hearted fella the little bit of extra TLC he needs is worth it! Arcade YoYo was born around August 2014.

Their adoption process
Additional adoption info
Once you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend an online group seminar on cat care. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older.
All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered. If you adopt kittens that are too young to be altered, we will arrange the spay/neuter/microchip at a later date at a partner vet.

More about this rescue
Anjellicle Cats Rescue is an all-volunteer registered 501c3 cat rescue committed to helping make New York a no-kill city. As one of the most active cat rescues in the 5 boroughs, ACR is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and adopting out homeless cats and kittens, many of which are sick, injured or dismissed as unadoptable. Through a coalition of volunteer advocates and caregivers, each rescued cat is welcomed with kindness and medical care into a foster home with the goal of adoption into a permanent, loving home. We believe that no animal should be ill-treated and strive toward a day when awareness, education and compassion have served to replace euthanasia as a solution to companion animal overpopulation.
