My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Daisy!

I am a sweet girl, but I am also very nervous. The people here at the rescue think that I have had a very difficult life to begin with because I get especially nervous around new people, sudden movements, and loud noises. I have been here for a long time, and I would really love to find the right home for me to live and be happy.

I would like to get to know you and to be loved, but you have to be very patient with me and to let me come to you. I know I may be asking a lot of you, but you have to learn to understand my signals and not push me, so I don’t get scared. I get stressed really easily and I need time to calm down and heal. This will require several meetings at the rescue and outside as well. My favorite people here will help you get to know me so I can learn to trust you. They will also help you and me through a transition period from the kennel to your home.
I prefer living with a single person or a couple with no kids. You must be a dog savvy and gentle person who can read my body language and who does not have a lot of visitors.

Will you be my person?

If you are possibly interested in meeting Miss Daisy, please go to our website, www.crcpa.org, and complete an application. Local families only please as we need to work with you for a transition from the kennel to your home. Miss Daisy needs a dog savvy home with lots of patience, love, structure, daily enrichment, and positive reinforcement to help her overcome her fears.
