Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rusty, an 8-year-old red boy, came to BDR because his family lost their home. Even though they were very sad, they loved Rusty enough to give him to rescue so he can have a chance to find a family that could take care of him.
Rusty is a big old love bug. He insists on taking a different toy with him on his evening walks. Like many of us Rusty put on a few extra pounds along the way so he is on a new diet and exercise program. He is hypothyroid so that can also explain some of his weight gain. On medicine for this and will soon be back in great shape!
Rusty lived with a tiny dog and is in a foster home now with dogs a little closer to his size. He seems to be friendly with all dogs. We have not yet cat tested Rusty.
