Mufasa is an amazing cat. I am not a cat person, but this guy won my heart. He was found in a parking lot at approximately 3 weeks old with a mutilated tail. He had to have his tail amputated. The first 72 hours were critical, but he beat the odds and survived. He’s now 3 years old. Loves to play. Loves to snuggle.

Mufasa gets along with my dog Odie, and he’s interacted well with other small dogs. I think he would be ok with any dog as long as the dog is OK with him. I do not know how Mufasa would do with other cats.

Mufasa doesn’t like it when his humans leave him for long periods of time. He does ok when I’m gone for a weekend. The two times he’s been separated from me for more than 2-3 nights, he ended up with a stress UTI. He is now on a urinary diet with a calming supplement. So far, he has not had anymore UTIs, but I also have not left him for more than a weekend.

I think the perfect home would be with a cat lover that can give him all the attention he deserves
