BONDED WITH DAVEY Jace is a handsome, dilute orange “chunky” boy with the sweetest, softest look. He’s very shy at first and prefers to observe the world from a safe, quiet spot. New environments and new people can feel overwhelming for him, but with patience, time, and plenty of space, Jace slowly begins to come out of his shell.
Once he feels secure, his gentle personality shines through. He’s a calm, low-key companion who will do best in a quiet home with someone who understands that trust is earned, not rushed. Jace is looking for a loving family willing to let him move at his own pace—and in return, he’ll offer quiet companionship and a special bond that’s truly worth the wait.

More about this rescue
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
