My story

Anna is an orange tabby cat with a white bib; she came to our refuge all the way from Gwinnett County, Georgia when she was still just a kitten in the spring of 2021. Anna had surgery to remove her right eye due to an injury-related infection, but she has since recovered from the procedure and is now gradually learning to trust humans. She is still extremely shy and not fond of being touched or petted, but as a young kitty with a full life ahead of her, Anna has lots of potential to grow and learn to trust. She would love nothing more than to find a forever home with a kind & loving family. Could you be the one she's been hoping to meet?

More about this rescue

Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses up to 258 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
