My story

Meet Lola,

This beauty is 6 years old and ready for her forever or forever home!  Lola is a little spunky girl who would love to find an amazing foster or forever home to blossom.

Lola did not have the easiest life before Scout's Honor Rescue so she is not always trusting of people, but who can blame her!  She needs someone experienced with the breed that is willing to take it slow with her and give her time.

Visit scoutshonor.org to learn more about Lola and how to foster or adopt her!

Scout's Honor Rescue is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill TX shelters. EIN # is 87-0773073

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

SHR will require an application and home visit for the adoption of any of our animals. The customary adoption fee is $150 for dogs $85 for cats.

Go meet their pets

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.
