My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello world! My name is Goji and I am quite the character. I'm here searching for a very special and patient home. I was born in January 2017. I am a total sweetheart, a loving boy, who wants nothing more than to collect all the tummy rubs. I weigh 14 lbs and I have a very squishy pooch. I invite you to squish and pet me all you want. The belly is not a trap! I really do love it. I am friendly, social and very loving. I like to greet people at the door when they come home. Once they have their shoes and coat off, I like to throw myself to the floor in front of them and roll over for belly rubs. It's my thing. I insist that everyone who meets me fall in love with me. It's part of my irresistible charm. Just try to resist. It is futile. I get along well with other cats with a proper introduction. I am 100% litterbox trained and ready for my loving home full of ready, willing and able belly rubbers. Although I am a big loveable sweetheart, I do sometimes get overstimulated and nervous. Because of this, my ideal home would only have adults and lots of enrichment to keep me busy. Adoption fee: $75. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
