Meet Cash!
"Hi! My name is Cash and I came here as a stray in April of 2021- more than half my life! That was many, many moons ago. I am about 3 years old, all black and almost panther looking with my long legs and big paws. I hear people talk about "black cat syndrome"...meaning that black cats are the last ones adopted. That makes me sad, because I'm sweet, playful and all around cool. I can be a bit shy with new folks, but give me a minute. I trust all the staff here, and will trust you too with time. I show them how special I am! I dream of a quiet home without small children. (Their sudden moves confuse me.) My hobbies include chasing the string that goes in a circle and laying in my cat bed. I also love back scratches. When I want one, I just face the other direction so you can reach my back easier. Nothing feels better! My perfect family will be patient with me and allow me to bloom at my own pace—I'm definitely worth the wait! I get along great with other cats, which makes me a perfect buddy for your other cat(s)! If you are looking for a handsome black cat who will be a great brother to your other cat, I'm your guy!"
