My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

So-so is a 2.5 year old female Jindo mix, 14kg. She was adopted for one year but had to be given up because she did not get along with the tiny size family dog. She is not the type of a dog wagging her tail to the stranger but with patience and love, she will open her heart up to you in 2 weeks.

After the rescue, so-so was sent to a training facility for basic training and to learn to be more accepting of strangers and help control her energy levels. She is very food motivated and will be trained well with treats. She has a high reactivity level but training has helped immensely. Her future family should be willing to continue the training- especially sit, lay down and wait commands. So-so has a tendency to jump up when she gets overstimulated so continued efforts to encourage sitting and staying calm will be necessary.

So-so will need continued practice and socialization with humans and other dogs like other Jindo. She has learned to be more comfortable and accepting of strangers (not as much fear or barking) and smaller dogs (doesn’t play often but allows sniffing). She loves playing with bigger or similar sized dogs. It will be better if strangers don’t give too much attention to her, as her reactivity is strong- the trainer recommends that so-so will have a few close and trusted people that she can see routinely. If the owner controls her when interacting with other dogs, and should frequently practice her recall to control her excitement during outdoor time, she will be a wonderful family dog. When kennel training, she did well with a comfortable blanket over her body.

The videos show the process of her training. instagram page 3/10 was training with the smaller dog. She didn't really care for the white pomeranian.

4/10 She likes and is playful with fluffy dogs that are the same or bigger sized one. Not much interested in smaller sizes but no aggression.

5/10 She learned nail clipping and staying in the house with people. She loved staying in the house.

6/10 Socialization with strangers and 'Bang' to get confidence. Getting treats from strangers. (giving her chance to interact with stranger)

7/10 Another socialization with other dogs. She looked happy and comfortable.

8/10 Socialization with adult male.

2,9&10 /10 She graduated from the training school and was sent to the boarding school. She is still getting trained here focusing on socialization and basic commands.
