My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince, a regal and cool canine, embodies the best qualities of his namesake. He's just as content lounging in the sun, nibbling on blades of grass, as he is frolicking in a creek. Despite his initial shyness at the shelter, Prince lights up with adorable bursts of zoomies when he sees his people. This beefy boy has a weakness for cheeseburgers, evident by the drool-inducing enthusiasm he displays. But beyond his love for treats, Prince has a heart of gold. Volunteers note that he appreciates the simple pleasures in life and isn't burdened by wild puppy energy - he's just a big meatball who adores meatballs.

Prince is eager to find his forever home where he can enjoy ample cuddle time. With a bit of patience and ongoing training, he'll blossom into the perfect companion. Prince is housebroken, crate trained, and seeks a household with individuals aged 16 and older. Potential adopters can bring their resident dogs for a meet and greet at the shelter to ensure compatibility. However, Prince isn't a fan of cats. If you're ready to welcome a furry family member with a royal name and a heart full of love, don't hesitate to meet Prince. He's ready to reign supreme in your heart and home!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
