My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lily is a wonderful 13 year old possibly, Silky Terrier Mix, who weighs 16 lbs.  Lily's mom could no longer keep her because her health is failing and she has to move to an assisted living facility.  Lily just arrived to her foster home on Saturday, July 17th so she is a bit confused and sad right now.  Lily's previous mom reports that Lily is a happy girl who enjoys people, playing with her squeaky toys and going for walks.  When Lily is on a walk she will bark at other dogs, but she is not aggressive at all.  In Lily's foster home she is doing very well with the resident dogs, but Lily would prefer to be an only dog.  Lily has not lived with children so we feel she is best in a child free home.  Lily is house trained and has no need for a crate.  Lily is looking for that special someone to live out her golden years snuggling and going on walks.  Lily is also very good in the car so she would be up for some car rides too.:)   Lily is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives.   The adoption fee for Lily is $300.00.

***Please note that our first step is submitting an application (it does not commit you in any way but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit).  In addition, an important step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
