Jax is a 7-year-old American Plotthound / Lab mix. I rescued him from the Animal League of Alexandria when he was 8 months old. I have had him for 6 years and he has been an amazing accoutrement to me life! Throughout my years life has kept me moving and meeting new people. He is well behaved off leash but hasn’t gotten many opportunities in the city. With my new job I am on the road for long periods of time and no longer have anyone to watch Jax while I am away. I am searching for someone who will care about Jax as much as I have if not more. He is a an amazing dog, that gets along with children, cats, and other dogs. He is a couch potato when inside, but he loves the outdoors. Tennis balls and squeaky toys are his favorite. Jax has never bitten anyone and is not territorial. He is the jealous type, but only when it comes to your love. Jax will come with all of his things so no need to worry about that. I just want to ensure he goes somewhere he is treated right and loved. Trained
