Kate is a sweet young adult cat who loves other cats and playing with toy fish and being held. She has the most beautiful green eyes and is really soft. She doesn't seem to mind dogs and also gets along with kids and adults. She would be purrfect for anyone!

PCHS is a volunteer organization created in 2005 to stop the euthanasia of unclaimed animals at the local pound.
Our shelter facility opened it's doors August 4th, 2011.

Our mission is to prevent suffering, neglect, abuse and cruelty to animals through community awareness and education, promoting responsible pet ownership and ending the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals in Pawnee County, Kansas. Since 2005, we have helped over 2,000 lost, stray, dumped, or relinquished animals to find loving homes.
