My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Rivi, affectionately known as Rivington! This handsome boy holds the record as our longest resident at Waldo's foster care. Currently finding love and care in NYC with his foster family, Rivi is ready to embark on a new chapter in life, seeking a forever home away from the bustling city.

While his foster family adores him, they believe Rivi's happiness will flourish in a quieter environment, free from the hustle and bustle of city sounds and traffic. With his intelligence, loyalty, and excellent leash manners, Rivi is the perfect companion for a home with minimal foot traffic or a family experienced in caring for dogs.

This clever pup is already house trained and crate trained, making him a well-behaved addition to any family. Moreover, Rivi has undergone professional training, which we are thrilled to extend to his future adopter throughout their lifetime together. The training facility, conveniently located in NJ, will provide guidance and support during the transition to a new home.

If you're looking for a smart and devoted furry friend, Rivi might just be the perfect match for you! Reach out to Waldo's to learn more about this amazing canine and offer him the loving forever home he deserves. Let Rivi's next chapter be filled with joy and love, as he eagerly awaits to meet his forever family!

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at http://www.WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
