Say hello to Johnny Long-Legs! The only thing longer than his legs might be his ears!
Johnny is a handsome, debonair little fella that will bring a smile to any face - and he really knows how to rock a bow tie! Funny and cute, this little guy found himself languishing in a Texas shelter with no interest. How could that be? But a village of people across multiple states mobilized to bring him to Harley's Dream (Harley’s House of Hope) in Colorado. He even earned his “wings” when he flew on an airplane from TX to CO! A true adventurer, Johnny is happy and inquisitive and super sweet.
Here’s what his foster mom shared with us:
“Johnny is very sweet, plays with toys, and he’s a joy to watch because he prances with those long legs of his. He loves to run around, and each day he’s coming out of his shell more and more. He’s really good with other dogs, but if they get in his face he lets them know it with a small growl, but he's not at all aggressive. He seems to be completely housebroken and walks well on a leash. He’s actually a quiet guy, who loves to go outside and lay in the sun until it gets too hot. He loves to have a bed outside and a little blanket to curl up under. He also loves to eat!”
Johnny's pretty darn healthy for a guy his age and currently has a few teeth left, but soon he'll have a dental and those remaining teeth might leave.
Johnny is currently accepting applications for his forever landing place. He is looking for a place with sunbeams, soft beds, lots of love, and plenty of treats. Oh yeah, and a bowtie for days he feels especially dapper!
