My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Oreo and his friends are currently staying at the cat room at Pet Supply Plus in Vadnais Heights!
An application will need to be completed before we can arrange a meet and greet inside the room - but he is visible through the glass for anyone coming to the store **

Oreo came to us as a stray after a kind person had been feeding him through the winter and seeing that he had battle wounds that needed vet care. We got him to the vet and all fixed up!

He still looks a little rough but only on the outside! Oreo has the sweetest, most gentle personality. He loves to get attention and just needs that special person to give him a second chance at life! You see, poor Oreo has tested positive for FIV. (He is negative for feline leukemia/FeLV though!)

Oreo has been living with another FIV+ kitty named Sam. They get along great. No fighting or disagreements -- They even sleep together and just appreciate each others company. Oreo does prefer human cuddles though and would really love to have a home of his own (or even with his buddy Sam). Could this be you?

Oreo is up to date on his vaccinations, has been neutered and microchipped. Due to his FIV, he will need to be in a home by himself, with another FIV+ cat or he may even adjust to living with a mellow dog. (Dogs and humans cannot get FIV. It is only transferred by deep bite or mating to other cats.) FIV+ cats can live a long and happy life if they are kept on a grain-free high quality canned food diet with routine vet visits. (This is recommended for ALL cats.)

The adoption fee for the pair is $300+ tax -- We may have someone interested in helping with some of the adoption fee.

** Please email us for an application if you would like to give this sweet boy a new lease on life! **
