Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Application, home check, vet reference check. You will sign a contract stating that the proper care will be given and dogs will be treated as a family member, not chained or tied and must live indoors. We also require that the animal be returned to us if it is not the right fit for your home. Fees vary depending on how much we have invested in the animal, but usually far less than we have spent.

More about this rescue

We are a married couple who lost our beloved pointer of 10+ years. We went looking for another to rescue and were overwhelmed by the amount of dogs discarded in kill shelters daily. We adopted one and soon another and another. Soon we were getting contacted by pointer rescues across the country asking if we could take more. We decided it was time to start our own rescue and since we have a small farm, we had room. We have also saved other breeds along the way and still have some available for adoption. We have also rescued hoses, alpacas and cats.
