Hi there!! My name is Aries. I am a 1 year old tan and white male beagle. Have you been looking for Mr. Perfect for a long time? Well, here I am! In the flesh! Somehow, I ended up in the pound, but those peeps must not have known how lucky they were, cuz as beagles go, I am so awesome!
I know all sorts of things that make me cool. I can shake, sit, and I can wait for my dinner, but I confess to drooling a bit, and I love the carrots and celery and pears and apples, (Ok I'll eat anything) that mom gives me to keep me slim. Persimmons are so good too! Oh and beets and ....ok, anything! I confess. I am a food addict, but aren't all beagles? I just learned how to high five - isn't that cool? I can't wait to learn more tricks!!
Anyway, my best attributes are: love people, especially when they sit down so I can love up on them. I like to put my head on their shoulder and let them know how much love I have to give. Sometimes I even give ear kisses. I am only 1 year old, but my foster mom says I am very mature for my age since I don't need to be crated and never chew or have accidents in the house. I love other dogs and seem to hold my own against the biggies around here! No problem whipping those guys into shape, all 95 lbs of them! Wow, more than triple my weight, now that I am so lithe!
BTW, I am trying to slim down and keep my figure, but did I mention that I LOVE food? So my new home will have to keep tabs on me, since nobody wants a fat beagle! My other best things are how cute I look when I am worried. I was all alone at that scary dog pound and they almost put me to sleep because I was so scared and my eyes and forehead wrinkles were so big, but once I got sprung, I was so cool. All good.
I also really love to go for rides and can sit quietly if I need to, so I am an awesome companion while the weather is nice! But I am also great to stay home, since I have no separation anxiety and I am fun loving when the time is right and snuggly when it is time to chill out. So that's why I am Mr. Perfect. Won't you give me a chance to show you what that means to you!
