My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the sweetest senior Snorkie (Miniature Schnauzer/Yorkie) mix girl, Angel. Angel is 12 years old and weighs 8.6 pounds. Sweet Angel is being fostered in Zephyrhills, FL.
Dogs being fostered in Florida need to be adopted within the state of Florida.

UPDATED BIO 08/03/2021: Angel has been a UYR foster dog for almost 3 weeks now. This sweet girl was turned into the shelter when her owner died and this was a very sad day for this sweet senior. One day she had a home and a mom, and the next day she didn't. Thankfully, UYR is a rescue partner with this shelter and when they notified us, of course we said YES!

Fast forward to today, Angel saw the vet for a dental and had no extractions and now has shiny white teeth. She is a healthy little girl and is now ready for her forever home.

Foster mom says that there is no mistake that this precious senior girl is named Angel. She is an Angel indeed. She coming out of her shyness and beginning to be social. She likes being with her foster mom and dad. She readily follows them around and keeps them company by sitting on the couch with them and cozying up to them in bed. Angel loves car rides and it’s obvious she has been on a few. BONUS! Angel is house-trained and will whine to tell you it’s time to go potty. Since Angel is a small senior dog, when foster mom runs errands for any length of time, she does put a doggie diaper on Angel in case of any unforeseen accidents. But the accidents are few and far between, and it’s likely that once she knows the potty routine in her foster and adoptive home, she will not need the diaper anymore.

Angel gets along with the kitty cats in the home. She gets all excited when she sees her leash come out since she loves to go on walks, and will stand on her hind legs and beg as if to say, hurry up, hurry up, let’s go!

PLEASE NOTE: Angel loves her people so much, so she really needs a home in which there is at least one stay-at-home or work-from home parent. Angel can be adopted into an adult home or a home with children over the age of 12 years old.
