About Bruno: I am tiny but mighty! I may be a lot smaller than my siblings but that doesn't stop me. I have the cutest pink nose and beautiful gold eyes. I am the adventurous one. I am always into something or climbing or running and playing with everything my tiny paws can touch. I’m learning to trust people so it takes me a little while to trust you, but a few days of yummy food & treats and I will show you the biggest purr you have ever heard! I’m very food motivated and petting me while I eat will help me love you faster. Once I do I love to have my head and ears scratched and rubbed. I am the needy one, I get lonely if I don't see my brothers and cry until I find them. I am just as happy if you are around too, that calms me down, but I really need someone rough and tumble to play with. I would really like to be adopted with one of my brothers, or another kitten to play with. Having an adult cat around to cuddle with is ok too. I'm ok with a doggy, if they don't chase me or pounce on me. I’m learning that dogs can be ok and be a friend. I don't like to be held much yet, so I would do best with someone who has cat experience and understands that I can learn that with a little more time. Please understand I might accidentally scratch a child if they try to pick me up. I’d be best suited in a home with older children only, maybe teenagers. If you have a little patience I would add a lot of love and laughs to your home! Bruno has been neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has received age appropriate vaccinations. (His brothers are Alex and Murray.)

Please understand, Companion Cats is made up of volunteers. Arrangements will need to be made to view our adoptable cats and kittens in person. Our adoption fee is $80.00 (or two for $120.00, over one-year-old.) Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue cat. Please also visit us on Facebook, @companioncatsinc

Additional adoption info

The first step in the process of adopting a pet from Companion Cats is to complete an adoption application. It provides information that enables us to assist you in the selection of a pet. Together, we will be able to determine if the adoption is in the animal’s best interest, and the process ensures that you will find an animal well-suited to your lifestyle.

Our $80.00 adoption fee for Adult cats (or $120.00 for two) and $100 adoption fee for Kittens (or $150 for two) includes the cost for general care while being fostered, microchipping, age appropriate vaccinations, testing for FIV/FeLV, and spaying or neutering of the animal. To be considered as an adopter, you must:

*Be at least 18 years old
*Have a valid driver’s license or Michigan Identification Card stating your current address
*Provide the name and phone number of your veterinarian

More about this shelter

Companion Cats is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up of volunteers. Our mission is to spay or neuter and find suitable homes for unowned cats, thus ending the suffering of abandoned and homeless cats living on the streets.

Once spayed our goal is to place them in an environment that best fits each cat. This method provides the most humane living situation possible. Both friendly and feral alike deserve the perfect forever home. If the cat is not very friendly but is homeless, perhaps this means being a “Barn Buddy” or being introduced into a controlled colony. If feral kittens are found, it might mean living in a volunteer foster home where they can be socialized until old enough to be tested for FIV & FeLV, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated prior to adoption
