My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy Doggy loves everybody. He's never met a stranger! Howdy likes dogs as well as people of all ages. He enjoys running and playing with them. He would be happy to run and play with you, too. How about a jogging companion? He is athletic and has the energy to keep up with an active family. And Howdy loves the water and likes to jump in and out of his doggy pool. Born July 2020, he weighs about 45 pounds. Howdy happily rides in the car and walks eagerly on a leash. Howdy is a friendly, affectionate boy who is enthusiasitic about life and would like to be your Prince Charming and grace you with the royal treatment.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
