Abe is a sweet, loving black Labrador born in March of 2023. Abe makes friends easily with people and dogs alike. He likes to play, but loves to cuddle even more! Abe will chase the ball or splash in the doggy pool. Abe is happy to ride in the car and walks well on a leash so he is a joy to take with you wherever you may go. 3) Schedule home visit
4) Place animal or refund fee.

Adopter has 30 days for 100% refund or exchange for different pet.

Located in the Mission area, Cinderella Pet Rescue, as an all-volunteer organization, schedules appointments for people to meet the animals at the shelter or in a foster home. Additionally pets are taken twice monthly to pet store for adoption events. Dates and locations are posted on our website and Facebook page.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
