Bogie is a handsome Cairn Terrier - we do not know if he is a mix or not but he is larger then the average cairn. His paperwork says he is 3 years old but we feel he is younger, maybe 2 years!
Bogie is an eager to please dog! All he wants to do is make his foster mom happy! He is very affectionate and is always close by. Bogie is crate trained and leash trained although he pulls - he is strong too! He gets very excited when he knows he is going somewhere. Bogie is very good with other dogs and especially loves the little pups in his foster home. He plays so nice and gentle with them. When it's the rowdier dogs turns, he gets right in there with the rough housing and shenanigans! Although he is recently neutered, he is doing excellent with his house training with very few accidents in his foster home! Please expect some adjustment time as he learns a new routine though. He loves to be outdoors and has a fully fenced yard in his foster home which helps with his training. Bogie is curious about the cats in his foster home and will bark at them, Oh and by the way he has a BIG bark that will scare away anyone that should not be there! Bogie was briefly tested with a child under the age of 10 and did great so we do not think kids will be an issue. He does tend to jump though - his foster mom is still working with him on this but it is something he does when he gets excited. He loves to be outdoors and has a fully fenced yard in his foster home which helps with his training. Bogie is smart and has learned to sit in his foster home - all it takes is a few treats! Bogie has been professionally groomed and will need regular grooming throughout his life.
Bogie is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450
