Gunner is a 19 week old male Shih-Tzu/Doodle mix. Gunner is a playful, fun pup who also likes to cuddle. He likes to play with his people and toys. He’s very food motivated and has the start to a good recall, sit, down and lures really well for treats. He walks well on a leash for a puppy. He is quiet and sleeps in the crate overnight. Has been good with other small dogs and was respectful of a cat. Gunner is working on potty training, doesn’t go in his crate but (as any puppy will) needs a consistent routine and a restricted area in the house until he’s potty trained. Gunner is very happy go lucky. He is gentle with food and pretty laid back. Gunner is confident and has the cutest shortie legs and fuzzy dappled coat. Best with kids 6+. Good with other dogs, doesn't have to have a buddy. Good with resources.

Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The donation fees are minimum $475 for puppies up to 6 months, minimum $400 for dogs 7 months to 6 years and minimum $ 300 for 7+ years/Special Needs. 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.
Gunner is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue centered in Bonifay and Panama City, FL (NY Lic #1054). This dog is currently in NY. The minimum donation $525 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, de-worm, flea prevention, heartworm prevention and martingale safety collar. Adoption fee payment methods accepted are credit, debit, Paypal and bank checks. No personal checks or cash. Applications must be submitted through our website - theluckypuppy.org - thank you!
