Bruno is a handsome boy that is looking for his forever family, and he wants his new people to know these 10 things about him:
1. I am a Cane Corso, and I am about 4 years old.
2. I came into rescue when my parents got divorced. Neither one could give me the time I needed, so they decided to bring me to the Bullpen in the hopes that I would get a chance at a better life.
3. I was not socialized a lot in my younger years, and I can be very nervous when I encounter new situations and people. A home that is willing to work with me on building confidence, and that will give me plenty of time to warm up to new humans and environments, would be the best fit for me.
4. Although I do like to play sometimes, I honestly prefer a calm and laid-back environment. An adult-only home without too many visitors would be ideal, but I think I could live in a household with children over 12, as long as they very calm and had some previous experience/training with big dogs.
5. I’ve mostly only met larger dogs, and I think I could get along almost any female dog over 50lbs. As long as my new owners were willing to give me a proper introduction to their pups, I believe I could happily live in a home with other canines.
6. I haven’t spent much time in the company of cats since coming to the Bullpen, so I don’t know if a home with felines is a good fit for me.
7. The words that best describe me are cautious, sweet, and affectionate.
8. My favorite things to do are hanging with people, playing in the yard, and napping.
9. I am housebroken and crate-trained, and good on a leash. I also know basic obedience and how to use a dog door!
10. I am fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
