Pretty Precious is ready to find her forever, and wants her new family to know these 10 things about her:
1. I am a Cane Corso, and I am about 5 years old.
2. I had a pretty bad life before I came to rescue: I was picked up as a stray in Cobb County and I sat at the shelter for 6 months before The Bullpen realized I was there and came to the rescue.
3. I’m fairly social for a Corso and although I can be shy at first, I warm up to new people quickly. I think I would do well in a home with kids over 10, as long as they weren’t too loud or rambunctious and had some previous experience/training with big dogs.
4. I did not do well at the shelter when they tested me with other dogs. I think this was because I was totally overstimulated and stressed in that environment, because I’m not reactive to the other dogs here at the sanctuary. Although it would probably be best if I was the only dog at my new home, I think I could learn to live with a large, laid-back male if we were given a slow and proper introduction.
5. I’m not sure how I feel about cats, so a feline-free home is probably a good idea.
6. The words that best describe me are energetic, spunky, and playful.
7. My favorite things to do are get treats, take naps, and play with toys.
8. I am housebroken, crate-trained, and good on a leash. I also know basic obedience and how to use a dog door.
9. I am fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped.
10. I am HW+, but I am almost done with treatment and will come with all of the medicine needed to finish the protocol.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
