Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Piper is a beautiful, 50 lb female and about two years old. She was found as a stray in a Missouri town and appeared to be abandoned by her owners. Piper is an absolute sweetheart who loves to stare lovingly at you until you pet her.
Second only to your love, her favorite thing in the world is to play fetch. She doesn't care what kind of toy, she will go get it again and again and again. Piper walks well on a leash. For an Aussie, she is fairly low energy but does like to chase squirrels and bunnies.
Piper would do great as an only dog but can get along with submissive dogs. She prefers her people and her toys all to herself. She does have an occasional tendency to guard her toys. She is okay with cats and could possibly be a fit for a home with teenage kids.
Piper is up-to-date on vaccinations. She is spayed and microchipped. She requires monthly preventatives for fleas/ticks and heartworms (no exceptions).
She is fostered in St. Louis, Missouri.
Needs:
Continuous supply of head pats and hugs
Strong-armed individual that can throw her ball several times a day
Wants:
Prefer to be an only dog in your life or another submissive dog
A pool or sprinkler
Regular walks
