Mayson, what a great name. This sweetheart had a loving home in Alabama with a Schnauzer Mix sibling and a loving adopted Mom. Unfortunately, her sibling died and then her loving Mom died suddenly. Her Mom's extended family loves her dearly, but were unable to welcome her into their home. She loves her treats and is overweight, so we've been making sure she has healthy nutritious food and good nutritious treats, just fewer of them. She loves to walk and walking will help her occasional limp from carrying too much weight. She has "her" couch - knocking off all the pillows and covers to S T R E T C H O U T. With recent checkup, no indication of arthritis or joint issues. She has this lovely tail and an expression that looks as though she is always smiling. She likes the other dogs, but would be just as happy as a one dog household as long as she gets the walks she craves. She's just a slow moving gal looking for her forever home.
THIS DOG IS BEING FOSTERED IN CITRUS SPRINGS, FL. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO PICK UP AT ADOPTION TIME. WE DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS, NO EXCEPTIONS. WE DO NOT ALLOW THIRD PARTIES SUCH AS FRIENDS OR FAMILY TO PICK UP THE DOG FOR YOU.
ALL FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE. WE HAVE AN ADOPTION PROCESS OF APPLICATION, PERSONAL/VET REFERENCES, PHONE INTERVIEW, AND HOME VISIT. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO PICK UP THE DOG WITHIN 3 DAYS OF BEING APPROVED.
IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE OUR TIME OR YOURS INQUIRING. WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS WITH RESCUE AND HAVE FAMILY/WORK OBLIGATIONS AS WELL. THERE ARE NO MEET/GREETS WITH OUR RESCUES UNTIL WE HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION.
EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT THE ANIMALS WILL BE LISTED HERE IN THEIR BIOS. SOME ARE OWNER SURRENDERS, OTHERS ARE STRAYS AND MAY BE FROM A SHELTER. IF IT'S NOT LISTED HERE, WE HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF IT. EMAILING WITH QUESTIONS ALREADY ANSWERED WILL NOT GET A REPLY. ALL OF OUR RESCUES LIVE IN A HOME/FAMILY ENVIRONMENT NO MATTER WHERE THEY CAME FROM.
