My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a package of looks and love! Duke is a handsome aristocat - err, cat - who knows how to observe before jumping into a situation and when to make a discreet exit. His sleek onyx coat sets off his eyes, which watch for the perfect chance to approach for snuggles and pettings.

Duke knows how to play with class, and purr with strength. He is shy at first but soon ventures forth for human attention. He does not want to be picked up, but that may change with long-term trust. Duke will not overwhelm his person, but stay calmly by their side when it is right to do so. He lets his sister Duchess take the lead, as he is, of course, a gentleman. He and Duchess are the best stereo purr machines!

In his spare time, Duke loves watching bird videos or playing catch the mouse games on a tablet. He also loves treats and pettings!

This suave panther is more than worthy of a warm, loving forever home. He will, of course, be grateful and offer love and purrs in return.

More about this rescue

We are a small group of animal lovers who foster animals in our own homes. We rescue from feral colonies, strays and pull from high kill shelters to save lives. Our founder works at a vet and is very knowledgeable about animal care and all of our babies get the very best vet care possible. They are all family and treated as such.
