My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little shepherd mix guy was a wandering around all by himself, and managed to stumble upon a fire station, where he was rescued from an uncertain fate. When he was first found, he was referred to as "Wormy" for reasons not hard to guess, but he's since shed the name (and the worms) and he is now Lando the foster dog. Lando is having a great time in his foster home and loves playing with his doggy housemate and learning new things all the time. He's currently majoring in tug-of-war with a minor in running around the house. He is learning that his crate is a nice place to rest, and he's also housebroken - for a puppy. That means that he goes to the door and whines when he has to go, but then you've got a very short time to get the door open and the puppy outside before it's too late. As his tiny puppy bladder grows with the rest of him, his 'hang time' will get much longer. Lando is also learning to walk nicely on a leash, but can't resist dropping for a wiggle in the grass, taking his leash along with him (see picture top left.) As you can tell by his stout puppy belly, he's got a great appetite for food as well as fun.
