My story

Sassy and her littermates were rescued from a car engine. She may be the smallest from the litter, but she is also the leader with a curious and adventurous spirit. She made friends immediately with the kittens from another litter. Sassy loves ear scritches, belly rubs, and to be combed and brushed. Her smaller size has not stopped her playing and wrestling with her bigger brothers (Chase and Pepper). Sassy leads the chase through the kitten tube and her favorite ball has a bell inside.

Additional adoption info

We take applications and review them. We have adopters meet our dogs/cats and our staff. We have an adoption contract to sign. Our adoption fees are usually $150 (cats) / $200 (dogs) which includes vet fees for spay/neuter and vaccinations.

OUR MISSION (the five R's):
To RESCUE abandoned dogs and community cats in desperate situations; REHABILITATE the sick, the injured, and the abused; REHOME dogs, cats and kittens ready for permanent placement with a suitable guardian; provide a loving REFUGE for cats that are not adopted; and REDUCE local shelter cat intake and euthanasia by promoting spaying and neutering.
