Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationFill out our adoption application: https://bit.ly/2Z0MEvO.
(We do ask for a personal and vet reference.) - Meet the PetIf you already have a cat or kitten in mind to adopt, come and meet them! Or you can come meet all of our available cats and kittens.
- Approve ApplicationWe'll review your application and call your personal & vet references (usually within 2 days). We do not offer same-day adoptions.
- Sign Adoption ContractOnce approved, you’ll come to the shelter to sign your adoption contract.
- Pay FeeAfter signing your contract, you'll pay the adoption fee. (Our fee covers spay / neuter, microchip, vaccines, and other medical care.
- Take the Pet HomeTake your new friend(s) home! We will provide instructions for transitioning your new pet into your home (especially with existing pets).
- Home CheckWe will follow up after the adoption to make sure everything is going well. We love updates!
Go meet their pets
Come meet our cats and kittens any time the shelter is open to the public — no appointment necessary. We do have some cats and kittens in foster homes, and adopters with approved applications can meet them at the foster's home. (Contact the shelter to schedule time to meet them.)
