Jersey (Rosita) is a sweet, scared 5 1/2 year old girl who was feral and rescued from horrible living conditions by All Sato in Puerto Rico. She was with a foster family for many months and she has come a very long way from her first days with us! She subsequently stayed with a professional trainer to help correct feral-typical behavioral issues and has just been 'sprung'! She now is looking for a home to call her own and a person/small family who will give her the chance to show her affection - she wants so badly to love and be loved! Her new person/family must be dog-experienced, patient with her, and not be afraid to correct her. She needs an adopter who has the time to continue to work with her on her fear issues, and take her places to ensure continual socialization (she loves being outdoors, she is at her best and happiest!). Another dog(s) at home preferred. Cats are fine! She needs to learn trust, so no children at home as they may scare and confuse her. She does need to live in a home with a fenced yard.
