My name is Ruby!

Ruby is a beautiful "gem" of a calico cat, with striking black and orange coloring. She is a bit shy meeting a new humans, but once she gets comfortable with you, she will visit your lap daily for pets, head scratches, and all over body rubs while she stares into your eyes to show her appreciation. She also likes to make biscuits in your lap.

Ruby had surgery for stomatitis in Jan 2023. She had 14 of her teeth removed to prevent continued pain and inflammation. She can eat wet and dry food, but may eat slower than other cats. Ruby does fine around other cats, but she would do best in a quiet home.
