My story

These two were rescued by Pasado’s Safe Haven with the rest of our Alphabet Sheep. They arrived emaciated and full of internal parasites due to their months of cruelty neglect. At Pasado’s Safe Haven, they have had the chance to live their lives free from harm and full of love.

Watson and Cornelius love to check out new things! Watson takes on the role of fearless leader and Cornelius is the one to question things but will then go along. Their dynamic is fun to watch as they explore their pastures! Watson can be vocal and will be the one to let you know if you forgot to give him a treat or he thinks it’s getting close to dinner time.

Cornelius will often wander off from the group, but when he rejoins, he is always with Watson. These two currently live with the other non-horned males of the group. With time, patience, and snacks, we expect Cornelius to become an even more social sheep. These boys love to play and the perfect home would have other sheep for them to play with and a large pasture to romp in!

More about this rescue

Pasado’s Safe Haven was founded in 1997 in honor of “Pasado“, a beloved donkey who was tortured to death by three teenage boys. Located on 85 acres in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, we are a non-profit on a mission to end animal cruelty.

In addition to investigating animal cruelty crimes and providing sanctuary and rehabilitation to animals who have suffered from abuse and neglect, we also advocate for better laws to protect animals and work to educate the public about how they can help end animal suffering. Through our uniquely comprehensive programs, we are able to help thousands of animals every year and spread a message of compassion to countless people.
