My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lexie is a 5-year old female black & tan Rottweiler who was brought to our shelter after being found as a stray in the area.
Lexie is playful, friendly, and would make a great companion. Come over for a visit with her!
She is somewhat possesive of her food bowl. For that reason, we beleive that Lexie will be most successful in a home without small children an other dogs.

$110.00 adoption fee. Lexie will need to be spayed at her new owner's expense. $55.00 of the adoption fee will apply towards the cost of spaying. The adoption fee also includes a Rabies vaccine. We welcome adoptions from people living out of the area or out of the state of Virginia. Please call the shelter first if you are interested in adopting a puppy or kitten 4 months of age or younger. The application process is completed in person at the shelter. SHELTER HOURS: Monday - Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Wednesday 11:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. We also offer a variety of other services, so please call us for details.
