My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This guy right here is Oliver! Oliver wants to move into your house and be your new hang out buddy. You get the total package when you adopt Oliver he's sweet and charming, but will rough house with you. He does play hard and will swat. Sometimes Oliver wants ALL THE PETS, but sometimes he wants to just relax and "potato" on the couch. This handsome guy is about 1-2 years old and would probably do OK with another cat. Oliver would probably tolerate dogs, but prefer them to be small as he would try to be the alpha. Come on down and bring home Oliver today!!


Adoption fee for dogs, cats, kittens, and rabbits is $60 per animal with a discount available for adopting two animals together. Cats, dogs, rabbits and kittens are spayed/neutered. Cats, dogs, and kittens are microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate shots prior to adoption. Cats have also been tested for feline leukemia and FIV and dogs have been tested for heartworm.

An adoption application may be found at the link below. Applications can be faxed to the Animal Shelter at 732-873-8902 or e-mailed to Brian.Hartman@FranklinNJ.Gov. Applications may also be dropped off in person during our open hours Tuesday-Friday 12pm-3pm Saturday 12-6pm.
