My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at that sweet face! Meet Tabitha. She is about 8-10 months old and looking for a nice quiet home. Tabitha came to us as a stray and is a bit shy, but is very sweet. Once she is comfortable she will be your best friend! Tabitha would do best in a quiet home with no dogs and older children. She would be OK with other cats as long as they aren't too overbearing. Sometimes she likes her space and just wants to sit and look out the window! Come visit Tabitha and fall in love today!


Adoption fee for dogs, cats, kittens, and rabbits is $60 per animal with a discount available for adopting two animals together. Cats, dogs, rabbits and kittens are spayed/neutered. Cats, dogs, and kittens are microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate shots prior to adoption. Cats have also been tested for feline leukemia and FIV and dogs have been tested for heartworm.

An adoption application may be found at the link below. Applications can be faxed to the Animal Shelter at 732-873-8902 or e-mailed to Brian.Hartman@FranklinNJ.Gov. Applications may also be dropped off in person during our open hours Tuesday-Friday 12pm-3pm Saturday 12-6pm.
