My story

Please consider sponsoring a cat for a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need.

Greyly was abandoned on a deadend street with two siblings during the pandemic.  The three of them would sit in the street each night at dusk for hours waiting for their previous owner to return. Greyly took to hanging around a kindly lady's house where food was often left out for him and after several months was trapped and vetted. He was understandably angry with all humans after being abandoned, but with patience and nurturing in foster care, he has come to understand some people are kind and deserving of his trust. he has learned to love chin rubs and ear rubs, and has blossomed into a sweet, but still somewhat shy boy who gets along well with other kitties.

Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained.

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org or 850-780-3223.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer organization saving lives in the Florida Panhandle through adoption, spay/neuter and TNR of community cats.

We are always in need of foster homes and volunteers. If you find a kitty or dog and are willing to foster it - we can help you find it a furever home. Can't foster or adopt right now, help socialize kittens. The more people the kittens are exposed to the better is for them. We can always use volunteers. Work from home, work directly with animals, or work non-directly with animals helping us raise money or distributing fliers.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE spay or neuter your pets! Escambia County pound puts down over 1,000 animals a month! Through spay/neuter we can reduce that number.
