My story

This boy is a playful and feisty guy.  He can be a bit shy and might take a bit to warm up. He does well with other cats especially his siblings.  We always recommend kittens go in pairs to keep each other occupied and lessen the potential for damage.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with an email for an application. Once we receive the completed application the review process begins. If everything is good then we will coordinated with the potential adopter to meet the pet. We are not a shelter, we are a rescue so we have no facility for public viewing.
Our adoption fees range $75 - $150 for dogs and $65 - $85 for cats.

More about this rescue

Misfits, Mutts and Meows is a public rescue that is now a 501(c)3. We are incorporated as a not-for-profit in the state of Oklahoma. Which means all donations are tax deductible. My husband and I have been rescuing animals for about 15 years by working with other rescue groups. We felt it was time for us to take matters into our own hands to get some of the many rescues we have adopted into their forever homes. We work with our local animal control to find homes for unclaimed dogs and we have many of the animals that others decided were to hard to get adopted. We want every animal to find the perfect home. Our local friends are a great help in getting to word out on those in need of homes. We are an environmentally friendly rescue. We utilize both veterinary medicine and natural healing to ensure the health of our animals.
