Meet Wingo!

Wingo is a fun loving pittie looking for his furever home. He loves playing with other dogs. Likes to roll and play (goes on his back during play) to allow other dogs to have the upper hand...well, paw. While "interested" in the resident mean kitty he is easily called away. He has a quirk....while all he wants to do is love on people (with all his weight)! Because of his overly zelous energy for meeting & greeting guests, it is recommended that guests be seated before meeting him because he nips during his excitement if they are standing. His new family will need to cautious and limits his interactions with new people. NO small children! He doesn't realize his size and weight and would easily knock them down as he just wants to be as close to his humans at all times. Wingo is a wonderful snuggly hippo!

DASH ( Danielle's animal safe haven) rescue Is a 501 3c rescue trying to place as many homeless animals in loving homes as we possibly can. We pull breeds of all types and sizes. We rescue dogs from your purse puppies to your gentle giants and all in between. We pull from kill shelters where most pups are on their last day. We try to keep our adoption fees within reason, but they do vary. In rescuing these hopeful pets, there comes a lot of expenses. These fees help with vetting, medications, altering (age appropriate) and so much more.
