Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Pooky! I‘m a petite, black female Shar-Pei who was surrendered to a shelter in Maryland by my owners. I am the rescue‘s first Pei of the New Year, and they're just getting to know me. So far, I‘m a little quite but want to be around people. I‘m interested in the other dogs but not in an aggressive way, as Lilly my foster sister is a little overbearing; but Snoopy, my foster brother seems a little more “friendly” which is ok with me. My foster mom thinks in time I'll get to like my “twin” sister. My foster mom says that overall I appear healthy. My coat needs some attention, but with a proper diet and some TLC it should be soft and shiny in no time. I have beautiful teeth so they‘re guessing I‘m not very old, maybe a year or two. I will be spayed next weekend and will be ready for a “furever” home in no time. To adopt me, please fill out an application and ask for Pooky!
