My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Blondie and Critter!

Blondie is a golden gem of sweetness wrapped in a fluffy buff-orange coat. At a distinguished age, Blondie's heart is as warm as his fur, radiating affection and charm wherever he goes. Though he faces the challenge of diabetes, his spirit remains resilient, and he gracefully accepts his twice-daily injections with patience and trust. Despite his health condition, Blondie's love knows no bounds, and he longs for a forever home where he can share his golden years with a loving family.

By his side is Critter, a beautiful black cat whose heart beats in rhythm with Blondie's. Though initially shy around new faces, Critter's soulful eyes reveal the depth of her devotion to Blondie. With a calm and soothing environment, her trust blossoms, and her playful side emerges, showcasing her affectionate nature and unwavering loyalty to her beloved friend.

Blondie and Critter's bond is as strong as the love they have to give. They dream of a home where they can cuddle together in the sunbeams, share quiet moments of companionship, and bask in the warmth of a family's love. If you have room in your heart and home for these inseparable pals, you'll be rewarded with endless purrs, gentle headbutts, and the joy of witnessing a friendship that transcends boundaries.

More about this rescue

Adopt a Cat Foundation, is a non-profit organization, committed to finding more loving and humane care options for the many homeless, injured and hungry cats and kittens that populate our county. Founded by 18-year recue veteran Inga Hanley, the foundation operates solely through donations,(which are tax deductible) and the assistance of small but dedicated volunteer force---which is always in need of more helping hands.
We provide the following services for the cats and kittens we rescue.

Humanely trap, spay/neuter and medicate as needed.

Provide temporary housing and care in one of two ways: in the shelter, or in one of our foster homes.

Evaluate their behavior and adoptability, adopt out the socialized ones to loving and hopefully permanent homes. Release the feral ones back to there committed colony caregiver who feeds them daily and monitors their welfare.

We also provide community service in other ways. Education on spay-neuter
programs to the public, schools and other non profit groups.

Education on care and handling of feline pets.

Participation in youth and school programs that offer credit for volunteer activities.

We do all this and more because we love them.
