Murphee is 5 year old spayed female border collie mix. She is UTD and heartworm negative. She is extremely smart, picks up tricks quickly and knows a lot of commands. She is house trained.

August 10, 2021: Murphee takes a while to warm up to people. She must be introduced to people from a distance a number of times before she is familiar with them. We let her seek us out for attention on her own terms. She doesn’t like people near her face, so hugging and kissing is not something that she tolerates. She gets along with some dogs, but not all. She eats by herself, as well as treats or bones. If something must be taken away from her, she will require a higher value item to trade for it. She hasn’t been in a kennel since entering foster care. She would do well in a home as the only dog, no cats, and no children. A dog savvy person would be best forever home for her.
